I finally remembered a woman on the water by Theodore Robinson. This painting has everything, a woman in dressy clothing alone in a boat with a dog. Perhaps there is a fan, or a parasol, or some goldfish hidden in the bottom of the boat somewhere. You never know. The woman and her dog are both identified. Who could ask for more...
